Novosibirsk maniac again begin to look for

October 26 2007

In Novosibirsk, reopened the investigation a series of murders of prostitutes, which took place from 1998 to 2006. Investigation Committee of the Prosecutor General's Office sent to the scene of one of his investigators.

Until recently it was considered absolutely desperate for development. However, the chairman of the Investigative Committee at the Prosecutor General Andrew Bastrykin, during his visit to Novosibirsk, Russia held a meeting with the head of the local police department and gave instructions to continue the investigation, frozen, saying that despite the frankly sluggish progress the investigation, "the prospects are."

The first reports on maniac began to arrive in 1998, when the forest was found the mutilated corpse of a woman. The body was dismembered. Later, representatives of the police began to find a new body along main roads and local trails. In total, it was found 17 corpses. According to the examination and investigation revealed that all the murdered women were prostitutes. In some cadavers killer leaves occult icons, but close to them lecturing a handful of stones.

Based on these facts, the investigation concluded that the killings committed people with a mental disorder of a sexual nature. The fact is that if you look at pictures and figurines of stone, what did the killer, based on mythology, it appears that no meaning in themselves, they do not carry and involvement in the occult, or any doctrine or sectarian murderer has not.

In 2007 it was closed for the reason that "the series ended. Killer more about myself not stated. Andrew Bastrykin inclined to believe this is the fault of the investigators themselves, and their negligence.

The head of the Investigative Committee said that the case of this maniac for a long time is a priority. From Moscow to Novosibirsk, Russia sent an investigator for particularly important cases of the central apparatus of the UK that, according to Bastrykin, "look at the situation with fresh eyes."
