Young people attending to the aid of Russian parliamentarians

The idea of youth parliamentarism are finding a greater response among the youth. And the keen interest the students to the issues of their own participation in city management and political life in general - to the clear evidence.

March 30 representatives of local governments and public organizations, as well as about 70 students gathered at Moscow State University of Management, to talk round table about the prospects of the youth self-government.

Meeting was organized by prefecture in south-eastern administrative district of Moscow. The forum was attended by Acting Prefect SEAD Michael Gribinyuchenko, president of the Center for Youth Parliamentary Larissa Sinyakova, chief specialist of Public Relations Committee of Moscow Olga Ilyukhin, coordinator of the Youth Information Centre of the Committee on Family and Youth of Moscow Vasily Ponomarev, as well as urban design coordinator of the Civil changing and many others.

Serious event name "The development of youth parliamentarism and e-democracy" is not scared of young people. On the contrary, not missing the opportunity to discuss their current problems with the current politicians and public figures, youth are actively expressed on the issues raised at the roundtable questions.

Actively discussed the problem of youth policy, the prospects for creating and working in the capital of an alternative parliament of representatives of the students, as well as the creation of youth houses in local government. A lively response among the students found the questions of patriotism and tolerance, the development of student media, increasing political literacy of young and active use of her right to vote.

Opening the round table, Michael Gribinyuchenko urged the assembled students to actively participate in social and political life of the city. According to him, the promotion of youth initiatives is a priority for the government of the capital.

In addition, Gribinyuchenko told about the creation of the Youth Council at the Prefect SEAD and public reception in the municipalities as areas where student organizations can apply with their proposals, and where they can get support in their projects, and to take active part in the work of state institutions.

In response, young people complained of a lack of "free circulation" of information on development in Moscow on youth parliamentarism. It was noted that most young people, despite the fact that they have a proactive stance, are still living with the installation "From my personal policy is independent." Students felt that the need to pay more attention to the promotion of youth ideas of state responsibility, and information on how to implement their projects, make possible more accessible.

These steps, according to students will be able to reduce the risk of politically active young people to unscrupulous politicians. Thus, awareness and literacy, students are confident, will ensure the immunity of young people to nationalist or other hazards to public ideas.

Subject career - one of the most exciting for students. They believe that their future success can be laid in college. Today, many large companies and institutions conduct competitions and internship students, who simply must participate, in fact, says popular wisdom, under a still stone gathers no moss.

opportunity to realize ourselves as a novice politicians and pave the way for a future career, working in the youth parliament, said Larissa Sinyakova, president of the Center for Development of youth parliamentarism. According to her, Russia already has positive experience of such structures.

Since the District Murom, Vladimir region has been successfully operating a youth parliament, whose formation occurs in parallel with the elections in the main legislative body. And four of those from him already become real MPs. Youth parliaments formed in Tver, Lipetsk, Amur and other areas.

"This way the youth self-government - is a huge resource that works for the benefit of young people, and therefore the future of the country", - underlined Sinyakova. Agreeing with her, a representative of Mayor Jane Smith, pointed out the feasibility of establishing a Youth Parliament at the Moscow City Duma.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants adopted a resolution which stated that it is a bet on the mature, thoughtful and educated young people will ensure the sustainable development of our country and the speedy construction of its full-fledged civil society.
