February 21 2006

Hollywood star Pamela Anderson (Pamela Anderson)   is a strict vegetarian and a few years in favor of animal protection. This time under the tutelage of silicone lady hit Australian sheep.

Andersen appealed to the Australian Government to stop the export of animals in the Muslim world, threatening to support the prepared campaign of boycott Australian wool.

Also, the model considers inhumane so-called cuts, which consists in the fact that the sheep is a deep cut over the knuckle in order to not procrastinate blowfly larvae under the skin of animals.

Greens in the U.S. do not agree with this practice, while Australian farmers argue that it is a necessary procedure in hot climates.

Not so long ago, "Redemptrix Malibu demanded from the Indian fashion designers to stop using leather. The Star published an open letter in support of the Protection of Animals PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals - «People for the Ethical Treatment of animals ").

As you know, the needs of the leather industry in India every year are millions of skins of cows, buffaloes and other animals that kill primitive way. While in India the cow consider sacred animal workers tanning industry that has not stopped.

Pamela Anderson is not the only star who cares about our "little brothers.

Another staunch defender of animals is the pop star Sophie Ellis Bextor (known hit singer Murder On The Dancefloor). She took part in the campaign against the fur industry.

On giant posters and billboards were placed shocking photographs in which the singer was holding in his hand a fox carcass, which had just taken off the skin. The photos were taken the photographer Mary McCartney, daughter of the legendary party The Beatles. And the photographer and the model worked for free.

Bextor said that "grew up under the slogan:" Better to go naked than wear fur ".

For Paul McCarthy and his wife, Heather Mills (Heather Mills) issue of animal protection is a priority. Paul calls on Canadian Prime Minister to close the annual hunting season on harp seals.

"We want you to know that if Canada does not cancel hotu seals and opens a new season next year, then for our part we will do everything possible to attract attention to the issue of all relevant media," - said McCartney.

Heather made several attempts to convince the novice designer Jennifer Lopez to stop using leather and fur in their collections. At the last meeting between Heather and singer Lopez guards roughly pushed McCartney's wife from the office.

McCartney's wife also appeared in a campaign to prohibit the making and selling the French delicacy foie gras, which includes foie gras.

On request, they appealed to California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The action was also attended by stars such as Martin Sheen, Alicia Silverstone, Kim Basinger. All they see inhumane way of cooking this delicacy, when ducks and geese are fattened in a special way, as a result of their liver is greatly increased in size.

ktrisa Charlize Theron (Charlize Theron) has become the new "face" of the PETA campaign to ban fur and leather animals. The posters Charlize captured in an embrace with the cute dog, a slogan at the bottom reads: "You would not make a fur coat of your dog. Please do not wear fur and other animal »(If You Wouldn't Wear Your Dog, Please Don't Wear Any Fur).
