In Navajo smoking

The Council of Elders of the Navajo Indian endorsed a ban on smoking in public places in their reservation. This measure applies to cigarettes, cigars, pipes and chewing tobacco. An exception will be made only for noncommercial tobacco, which is used in traditional rituals.

Violators of the new law will be fined $ 100 and $ 200. Navajo Reservation is located in the U.S. states of Arizona, New Mexico and Utah, reports Radio Mayak /
