In India, there was a new outbreak of bird flu

Indian authorities have confirmed a new case of outbreaks of the virus of bird flu on poultry farms in the northeastern part of the country. Local epidemic of poultry deadly H5N1 strain occurred in the state of Tripura.

According to statistics from the World Health Organization, while India has not been any human cases this virus, so that the authorities intend to kill 50,000 birds to prevent the spread of the disease, reports Xinhua.

Recall that in late January 2008. poultry in 13 out of 19 districts in the Indian state of West Bengal have been affected by bird flu and authorities were forced to score about four million birds.
