In northern Turkey, on a farm in the village of Saz, marked by deaths of chickens. Scientists have confirmed the worst suspicions of the owner economy - here there was a "bird flu".

Given the seriousness of the situation, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkey was assured that every effort is made to prevent the spread of dangerous diseases. Reported by the AP.

Note that the last major outbreak of bird flu occurred in Turkey in January 2006 - then from sick birds, the virus infected 12 people, four of whom died.
