American author Sidney Sheldon has died

The outstanding U.S. writer world bestseller author Sydney Sheldon died 90-th year living in California.

The cause of death was complications from pneumonia. The last hours of the patient's bed in the Eisenhower Medical Center in the town of Rancho Mirage were his wife Alexandra and daughter Mary.

Sheldon works, among them - "Wrath of Angels," "If Tomorrow Comes," "Back Side of Midnight" and "The Sands of Time" - are well known to readers and viewers around the world, as many of them written novels served as the scenario for an exciting body - and films.

The writer dictating a stenographer or a tape recorder to dictate 50 pages a day, until he recruited fifteen hundred pages. He then cut back again and again and rewrote the novel, not yet formed bestseller.

Creativity Sheldon quickly and firmly conquered the hearts of Russians, only his novels have been translated into Russian. Sheldon said: "I'm trying to write so that readers could not close my book. The technique is simple: when the head ends, you want to read just one more. And so - to the last page."
