The oldest camera sold for 600,000 euros

The world's oldest camera "daguerreotype» (Daguerreotype) sold at auction in Vienna for a record sum of 600 thousand euros. According to experts, the camera is the only surviving product of French company "Brothers Syuss" and was created by no later than 1839.

The device was accidentally found in the attic of a house in the German Munich, where pylilsya since 1940. Up to this point it was thought that a single copy of "daguerreotype" production "Brothers Syuss" in the world is left, according to NTV.
