Just six Russian universities and four regional branch schools were deprived of accreditation. This was told yesterday the head of Rosobrnadzor Viktor Kruglov. The reason for revocation of license sounds like a death sentence.

Institutions suffered mainly because of "insufficient level of development of students of the program material - they could not they teach their students the necessary studies.

This year, officials have seriously tightened the rules for accreditation. First of all, the ministry will find out the quality of student training, the demand for them in the labor market is sure to become a research activity.

"Graduates are many and highly skilled - in the afternoon with fire you will not find" - explained the requirements of the head Rosobrnadzor Lyubov Glebova. Universities that fail to respond to new realities, will close its doors, she explained, and those who happen to be rather weak, merged or consolidated. In the end, the country should stay 100 - 150 institutions and 50 - 100 universities.

Students are thus nothing to fear: if university where they study, will be deprived of accreditation, it still will allow young people finish my studies and obtain a degree gosobraztsa either this institution or in another, writes "KP".
