Died actress Lydia Smirnova

In Moscow, after a long illness on 93-year life of the People's Artist of USSR died actress Lidiya Smirnova.
The actress died in hospital. Yet resolved issues related to funeral arrangements. She wanted to be buried beside her husband at the German cemetery.
Smirnov was born Feb. 13, 1915 in Meyzelenske in Tatarstan. Studied at the Industrial and Economic College at the Moscow Aviation Institute and worked at the same time.
During his studies at the Moscow City Theatre School, where she graduated in 1938, the actress has already played in the Chamber and the realistic theater.
Five years from 1940 Smirnov worked on a film studio "Mosfilm", and from 1945 was an actress studio theater actor.
First Smirnov in the movie was the role of Shura in a lyrical musical film "My Love" in 1940. Also, the actress starred in such films as "A guy from our city," 1942, "Silver Dust" 1953, "Three out of the woods" (1958), "Rudin" (1976) based on the novel by Ivan Turgenev, "The Cap" (1990) by a satirical novel by Vladimir Voinovich. Smirnova also belong to the role of doctors pioneer camp in the comedy "Welcome, or No Trespassing" (1964) and Duska, further Evdokiya Mironovna, in "The Village Detective" (1968) on the work of district wise Aniskina, and many others.
In 2005, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the actress with a 90-year anniversary, and awarded her the Order of Friendship. " Reports
