16:50 Goat-amulet British army regiment in disgrace has been demoted after racking system before international dignitaries during a parade to mark the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.
The military mascot, a 6-year-old goat named Billy, was demoted from corporal to private. Army authorities decided that his misconduct violated the ceremony, held June 16 at the British military base in Episkopi, west of Cyprus.
22-year-old Corporal Davis Day and part-time coach of the goat, could not keep your pet in the ranks: goat all the time edging running from side to side, knocking the soldier with a pitch, BBC reported.
