In St. Petersburg are to hold a gay parade. The event is scheduled for late May. It is planned that will be attended by about 200 people.

It is reported that on April 23 was formed by the organizing committee of the future parade. In a press release circulated by the claims that it will include some "well-known in Russia and abroad," people whose names have not been disclosed.

Recall that the first attempt to hold a gay parade in Russia was undertaken in 2001. Then, the Moscow authorities banned it, referring to the immorality of such a holiday.
