Luzhkov finally "sentenced" Moscow markets

Moscow will soon get rid of the markets, implementing consumer goods. Told Mayor Yuri Luzhkov.

According to him, "on such markets sold substandard products, they sell counterfeit discs. "Here we have crime, and do not have the tax estimates, our task - those markets with consumer clearing away", - underlined the mayor.

According to Luzhkov, since 1999. in the city were closed down 138 markets. Currently in Moscow there are 102 market. In the future, said the mayor, the city government intends to completely eliminate these items.

Speaking of markets, Yuri Luzhkov made another remarkable statement. According to him, is necessary to revive the system of consumer.

"I was wrong when decided that 50 percent of the seats in agricultural markets should be given to farmers in the regions: from the perspective of philosophy, a farmer at the market to trade will not go - to go back to the structure of consumer cooperatives, which we have lost since the Soviet Union", - Moscow's mayor said.
