Within 10 years the Bible will be translated into 250 languages for the African people in North Africa. This decision was an international association of Bible translation. The association, which for the past 70 years has been involved in 600 transfers around the world, will translate the Bible into the languages of the Bantu.

Representatives of this language group live in sub-Saharan Africa, west of Nigeria and Cameroon to the east of Kenya, as well as in southern Africa. Precise data on the size of this language group does not exist, but, according to experts, it has 240-300 million.

"The work will be completing the translation of the Holy Scriptures for the hundreds of categories of people who witnessed the mass killings of ethnic genocide, religious hatred, social and political revolutions," - said Bruce Smith, president and CEO of the association.

"We are confident that when a Bible is translated into native languages of these people will come positive changes are saved thousands of lives and moral support to get those believers who are persecuted," - he added, the BBC.
