Australian farmers spent six nights in a tree in the middle of the swamp, to escape two hungry crocodiles.

The case occurred in early August, when David George, 53-year-old manager of a cattle farm, located near the town of Coen in the tropical region of Queensland, fell from his horse and lost consciousness.

"I woke up in the middle of the swamp," - "George said in an interview with Australian radio. According to him, when he climbed the tree, already were approaching the twilight, and the first night at the new place he held at a height of two and a half meters above the ground. Soon, according to George, he found two large crocodile. "The next night, I climbed higher and put a few sticks that I could lie down" - says George.

Meanwhile, his horse returned home without his master, and rescuers went looking for him. Some time later, George, waving a T-shirt on top of his asylum, discovered an army helicopter. He was taken to a hospital in Cohen with minor injuries and discharged within a few hours.

According to officers of the Parks and Wildlife Queensland Mark Reed, a farmer found himself in a dangerous situation. "Sir George was very lucky that he found a tree right size and shape, where he was able to accommodate all this time" - he said. Informs RIA Novosti news agency.
