In Pakistan, militants beheaded an Afghan spying for U.S.
Supposedly pro-Taliban militants wing "executed" a man and threw his body in a field on a farm in north-western Pakistan. According to the accounts of local officials and residents Afghan man was "accused" them of spying for the United States.
The decapitated body that belonged to a man from eastern Afghanistan, was found in the village Dhabi near the town of Miran Shah - the main town in North Waziristan, reports the AP.
The official, who requested anonymity, identified the victim as Asim Khan and said that the victim was abducted by unidentified gunmen three days ago.
The official gave no further details, but a local resident, Salim Ullah, said that he had seen the letter next to the dead, saying that "anyone spying for the benefit of Americans share the same fate."
Despite the fact that the militants are often killed by people suspected of collaborating with the Pakistani and U.S. security forces in North Waziristan, the authorities have so far failed to arrest any of the suspects.
