In the U.S., the police arrested on suspicion of murdering a famous screenwriter, Oscar winner and author of the plot for the acclaimed film by Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction", RIA Novosti reported.

Roger Avery was taken into custody Sunday in connection with charges of manslaughter and driving under the influence.
42-year-old writer lost control. In a car crash killed 34-year-old Italian Andreas Zini, who supposedly was a friend of Avery. 40-year-old wife Avery - Gretchen - was found by rescuers on the road. Presumably, at the time of the accident she was thrown from the vehicle interior. The woman was hospitalized, her condition is stable.

Avery was taken into custody but later released him on bail of 50 thousand dollars.

Avery is known as the winner of an Oscar. In 1995, together with Tarantino, he won the prestigious award for shooting the film "Pulp Fiction". He also worked on the screenplay and was executive producer of the movie "Beowulf," released in cinemas last year.
