Died director Soyuzmultfilm

91 th year of life died a famous film director Joseph Boyarsky, who for many years was director of a puppet union Soyuzmultfilm.

Under the leadership of Boyarsky starred such famous Soviet cartoons as "Cheburashka", "38 Parrots", "My Green Crocodile", "Varezhka" and others.

Iosif Boyarsky was one of the first directors of the Soviet advertising, one of the organizers of the doll business in animation, dean of animation Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and filmmakers. According to the recollections of colleagues, he was a "fantastic optimist", had "an inexhaustible sense of humor, inner freedom and was always full of ideas."

Iosif Boyarsky was born on November 7, 1917 in Moscow. In 1936 he enlisted in the army and sent to the Leningrad Military Aviation School. Served in Voroshilovgrad Aviation School, evacuated during the war in Uralsk (Kazakhstan). After demobilization in 1945, hired by the studio "Soyuzdetfilm" administrator, a senior administrator and then deputy director of the painting. In 1953 he graduated from the VGIK.

In 1951-1953 he worked as an organizer of production and assistant director of popular science and propaganda films of the Sverdlovsk Film Studio. In 1956 - organizer and director of advertising studio at the General Directorate Rostorgreklamy.

Since 1960, worked as a director at Soyuzmultfilm ", from 1963 to 1978 - director of the creative union puppet film studio.

In 1979-2000 he was the head of the faculty directors of animated films Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and filmmakers.
