Sperm donor must pay child support lesbians
British Agency for the Protection of Children obliged sperm donor to pay for the contents of two young children who were born in a family of lesbians. The fact that British laws protect against such payments only registered donor sperm.
37-year-old resident of London Andy Beti says that donated his sperm familiar pair of extremely friendly feelings. According to him, the two women tried to convince him that he had never insisted on his participation in the education and maintenance of the offspring. Beti also said that his own children he does not because of lack of funds for their maintenance.
A lesbian couple living in an officially registered marriage, turned to the Beti-five years ago. As a result of fertilization, donor sperm were born two children - a boy and girl.
Commenting on the circumstances of the case, the representative of the Agency on Artificial Fertilisation and Embryology Authority said that the laws of the United Kingdom can not be regarded as fathers only collaborating with the registered clinics, donor sperm. In all other cases the fact of biological paternity is decisive for the oversight.
