About 300 families were cut off from the outside world in the mountain areas of Nicaragua in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Felix. The hurricane has destroyed roads, telecommunication lines and electricity, destroyed the crops in the vicinity of Bonanza, located 280 km north of the capital Managua.
