The famous cartoon "Tom and Jerry" provoking aggression. This conclusion was made after scientists study involving boys aged 2 to 5 years of age who regularly watched on TV cartoons. "Tom and Jerry" is dangerous primarily to the fact that the constant violence in this cartoon does not lead to any injuries at the heroes.

"Most parents think cartoons totally harmless because they are funny and have nothing to do with reality," - says psychologist Dimitri Christakis of the Children's Hospital in Seattle. He believed that cartoons and just so dangerous. They convince children that regardless of the impact of falling from great heights, explosions, etc. their favorite characters will remain intact.

"This gives young viewers the wrong picture of what constitutes violence in real life" - concludes Christakis. The negative effects of cartoons are especially vulnerable to the boys: girls of the same age who watched the same program, did not show any signs of later antisocial behavior, reports SNews.
