At least 270 new trees will be planted in the near future in an apple orchard, which pleases Muscovites over half a century, said spokeswoman capital of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
"Apple Garden on Kutuzov Avenue updated. In the near future there will appear another 274 young trees. Old and diseased trees have left the garden, and in their place will grow eight-apple-tree," - she said.
According to the agency interlocutor, in the garden will be planted five apple varieties - Antonovka Volzhanka, Wells, Orel and North synaptic.
"The plan approved by planting the first seedlings have already moved on to" permanent residence "- added spokeswoman.
She recalled that two years ago in this area was planned to build a multifunctional complex, but the department of wildlife insisted to keep the garden.
