New power plant to be built near Sochi
Today at a press conference the head of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachev said that RAO UES of Russia and Krasnodar Krai Administration signed on Feb. 17 agreement on the construction of new power facilities in Sochi.
According to him, it will "close once and for all the problems of energy supply of Sochi." He explained that deals with the creation of several power plants in the vicinity of Sochi.
According to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Minister Gherman Gref, "we have made deep conclusions from the situation with the failure of electricity.
Gref said: "Until the end of next week will develop an agreement between RAO UES of Russia and Krasnodar region administration, which would solve all the problems with energy supply in the near future." News is reported.
