Parasites were found in the train, which last week moved from the Mediterranean city of Nice to the Mets. The cars, the passengers who complained of bedbug bites were uncoupled and disinfected. They are returned to the railroad next week.

A spokeswoman for the railway company said that bedbugs are very rare occurrence on trains. She also said that insects are so small that they can not observe and carry out disinfection. The presence of bugs becomes known only when they start biting, reports AFP.
