Wine cellars of the royal palace in London, the contents of which are estimated at two million pounds sterling, in order to save electricity will be cooled with water from a hole in the palace garden.

For many years, the keepers of royal cellars cooled stone walls, which are more than three hundred years, with a powerful ventilation system and the whole maze of pipes. The temperature in the cellar is very important and should be 9-13 degrees Celsius.

It is assumed that the cold water from the well through the pipes will go through all the cellars, and then get into the palace pool. The new cooling system for keepers will be able, for example, cool white wine is stronger than the red, and contain the champagne at ideal temperatures.

The use of water from wells drilled in 2002 - is only part of a plan to reduce electricity consumption in the royal palace.

The well is cool the royal gallery, and engineers hope that thanks to her palace in the future be able to move to a system of its own water supply. Informs RIA Novosti.
