One in three British paranoid. Go to this conclusion by psychologists, to extrapolate the results of psychological virtual test, reports The Sun.

Scientists from the Institute of Psychiatry at King's College London suggested that 200 volunteers to make a four-minute virtual trip to the London Underground train.

At the experiment participants wore virtual reality helmet with headphones, which sounded noise underground and began to study their reaction to other computer simulated passengers. It turned out that nearly 40% of the subjects appeared obsessions, especially those who before the test said that is prone to anxiety, pessimism and lack of self-esteem.

Thus, one of the paranoid argued that with him went the suspect passenger, who may lucky bomb or may become aggressive. Another woman was afraid that it will begin to harass, while another party made a man who moved his hand over the pickpocket.

Dr. Daniel Freeman, who led the study, said: "It used to be that paranoid thoughts come only to people with serious mental illness, but it now appears that this is not true."
