However, according to Levitin, 2015. plans to build 685 km of expressways and toll, to reconstruct 861 km of federal roads and build 29 overpasses at the intersection of railways and roads. In particular, in the Moscow region is expected to build and reconstruct 1 thousand 172 kilometers of regional roads.

Vice Prime Minister stressed that due to excessive concentrations of the various functions of the capital there are problems of traffic congestion, deteriorating environmental conditions, rising real estate prices, as well as increase the flow of labor migration from the suburbs to the capital. In addition, Ivanov emphasized the need to develop a unified plan of urban development in Moscow and Moscow region.
