In Britain, kidnapped two "Bronze Horseman"
In the UK during the week kidnapped two bronze equestrian monument to a total value of 45,000 pounds. It is assumed that the thieves are selling art for scrap. If so, they help out for them about 5000 pounds.
British police suspect that the crime involved the same people that have stolen in December 2005, a bronze sculpture of Henry Moore worth 3 million pounds and a statue of Lynn Chadwick, estimated at 600,000 pounds.
Both were stolen bronze monument to the churchyard. An equestrian monument was erected in honor of the First World War, Lieutenant George Armstrong of the band Sherwood rangers at the cemetery in the county of Wiltshire. The author of the monument was listed renowned British sculptor Henry Pegram, so the cost of the monument is estimated at 30 thousand pounds. The second statue was located in the county of Somerset. It erected on the grave of Army Signal Corps officer, and member of the First World, the newspaper The Independent.
