Polish customs officers have higher wages

In Poland, the government managed to reach an agreement with the customs officials, who were protesting against low wages.

"The proposal prepared by the Government, was taken by customs

Services "- said Prime Minister Donald Tusk, adding that customs officials have agreed to increase salaries by 500 zloty (140 euros) per month and an increase in legal protection of their profession.

Tusk also said that "everyone who suffered financial losses during the week-long protest can sue and expect an honest record keeping by the government."

As previously reported, the Polish customs officers in October protesting against low wages and unjust laws that outline the scope of their duties. Last week they were under the pretext of vacations or illness have refused to work on the eastern border of the country. This led to the formation of huge queues of vehicles, reports Pravda.ru .
