October 18 2008

According to local media, the statue of the prophet's David Jensen, Adolf Yerikau was installed in front of the Cathedral of Copenhagen in 1860 on the initiative of the University of Copenhagen. The police so far only speculate about the circumstances of this unusual in all respects theft. It is not excluded that the criminals executed an order of a private collector. Experts do not exclude the possibility that the stolen sculpture may simply melt.

One of the restorers, Brian Nielsen, said that "all hope that the police can quickly get out on the trail of the kidnappers, who will be hard to hide from prying eyes monument of imposing dimensions, besides, it is impossible to sell," Vesti reports .
