Kamchatka, "shook up"

At the eastern coast of Kamchatka in the Pacific Ocean, the earthquake of moderate strength. Scientists Kamchatka Branch of Geophysical Service RAS estimated magnitude of oscillations of the Earth's crust of 4.3 on the Richter scale.

According to seismologists, the epicenter of this earthquake was located 140 kilometers southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky at a depth of 13.6 kilometers under the seabed.

In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky tremors were felt - with a force of one or two points. As a result of this manifestation of seismic activity no one was hurt. Destruction and the threat of a tsunami there, reports RIA Novosti.
