Successor to al-Zarqawi vowed to U.S. war
The new leader of the Iraqi wing of the terrorist network al-Qaeda Abu Hamza al-Muhadzher vowed to avenge the death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
"The crusaders, what will happen in the coming days, will make your children turn gray - battles that will reveal the falseness of your power, the weakness of your soldiers and your lies" - grouping said in a statement posted on an Islamist website.
"Do not be happy with what you have killed our sheikh Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, because he left his lions. We intend to continue what started our sheikh Abu "- said al-Muhadzher.
In a statement the Iraqi wing of al-Qaida pointed out that the main objectives of new attacks by militant groups become soldiers of the U.S. Army, as well as Iraqis, to assist them.
