The new leader of the Iraqi wing of the terrorist network al-Qaeda Abu Hamza al-Muhadzher vowed to avenge the death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

"The crusaders, what will happen in the coming days, will make your children turn gray - battles that will reveal the falseness of your power, the weakness of your soldiers and your lies" - grouping said in a statement posted on an Islamist website.

"Do not be happy with what you have killed our sheikh Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, because he left his lions. We intend to continue what started our sheikh Abu "- said al-Muhadzher.
