In Iraq, militants blew up the radio, there are victims

In Baghdad, was subjected to armed attack militants independent Iraqi radio station Radio Dijlah. Two employees of the station were killed, five others - were wounded.

According to the deputy station Karim Yousef, the guards and the staff half an hour provided the attackers resistance. Militants blew up the first floor. The blast destroyed equipment, including radio and the station ceased to give the signal to broadcast.

Radio Dijlah (Dicle - the Arabic name for the Tigris River), located in the predominantly Sunni district of Baghdad Jamia in 2004 became the first independent radio conversation in the country. The attack of militants on its employees was the third in the last five months, reports AP.
