American electromagnetic gun would get to Moscow

The Pentagon has tested its new electromagnetic guns. U.S. weapons allows shooting at distances up to 400 km with a circular probable deviation of a hypersonic weapon 5 meters. For comparison - the state border between Russia and currently runs at about 400 km from Moscow.

During the tests posed a new all-time record for gun systems of this type - the kinetic energy of the munition has exceeded the estimated 10 MJ, reports SNews.
