New Mayor of Vladivostok city breaks to prepare for the summit of the APEC-2012

Igor Pushkarev, who was elected mayor of Vladivostok, 18 May 2008, sworn in and officially took office. Results of early elections Head of Administration of Vladivostok city district were announced at a meeting of the city electoral commission on 20 May. Newly mayor spoke about his priorities as head of Vladivostok.

Thus, one of the first questions that Pushkarev intends to do at the head of the city, is the elimination of business tax from the shadows into the light and increase the revenue side of the city budget by half - from 5 to 10 billion rubles. In addition, the new mayor intends to achieve the speedy adoption of a new master plan of Vladivostok, without which it becomes problematic city's preparations for the APEC summit in 2012.

In this case, Pushkarev assured that the delay in the adoption of General Plan of Vladivostok will not affect preparations for the summit. "Time enough yet" - he said. Probably a master plan for the city will be adopted in August this year, RBC reports.
