To address issues at IAEA joined former Soviet republic

Yesterday in Vienna, at the 51 th session of the IAEA General Conference, the committee unanimously called for the agency granting the right to vote one of the former Soviet republics - Moldova.

"For" vote of the entire agency committee, whose members are Russia, Croatia, Cuba, Egypt, Germany, Vatican, Lithuania, Malaysia, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Syria, the United States and Lebanon.

Now Moldova restored the right to vote, which she was deprived in 2000, and it will allow the country to actively participate in programs and project agencies to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. It is reported by RBC.
