Canada recognized Kosovo

Canadian authorities have to recognize Kosovo's independence. "The unique circumstances that led to the independence of Kosovo, are unprecedented," - said the head of the Canadian Foreign Minister Maxime Bernier.

Serbian Ambassador to Canada Dusan Batakovich after the decision, reported that "pass (Canadian government) a strong protest" before going to Belgrade for consultations.
