Polish President did not let fly

The Polish government refused to allocate the Polish President Lech Kaczynski a plane so he could fly in on Wednesday at the EU summit in Brussels, broadcast on Tuesday, Agence France-Presse. However, Lech Kaczynski still promised that he would attend the meeting.

"I'm going (to Brussels), probably by plane, since I do not know how to fly", - quotes agency the president's words. The only Polish government plane, according to the letter to the presidential administration of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, was among those employed in other governmental affairs. Because of this, the government refused to visit the country's president.

In Poland, the question of who will represent the country at the summit, discussed since last week. Despite the fact that Lech Kaczynski is committed to take part in the summit and be the head of the Polish delegation, Prime Minister Donald Tusk excludes this possibility.
