The CEC approved the composition of the Duma

Russia's Central Election Commission meeting on Friday to adopt the personal staff of the State Duma of the 5-th convocation and present deputy mandates candidates. Following the elections on Dec. 2 State Duma passed the four parties: United Russia received in the lower house of 315 seats (64.30% of the vote), the Communists - 57 (11.57%), Liberal Democratic Party - 40 (8.14%), "Fair Russia" - 38 (7.74%), RIA Novosti reported.

However, more than a hundred candidates in parliament to work in the State Duma refused. In the first case of United Russia - were vacant mandates 101 candidates from the list of United Russia. Among them, the leader of a party list, Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as virtually all the first issues of regional lists - the leaders of Russian regions, members of the Russian government. They include President Mintimer Shaimiev, the head of Kalmykia, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, president of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov, governors Khloponin, Alexander Tishanin, Aman Tuleyev, Georgy Boos, Eduard Rossel, Boris Gromov, Valery Shantsev, Valentina Matvienko, Dmitry Zelenin and others, as well as Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov, Minister Sergei Shoigu and Trutnev.

On the eve of in accordance with the law the CEC decided to refer them to the mandates of other federal lists of candidates of the party. Not without the use of so-called "locomotive" and "Fair Russia" - to work in the Duma will not go past the lower house, Federation Council Speaker Sergei Mironov, and Culture Minister Alexander Sokolov, the mayor of Samara, Viktor Tarkhov and actor Valery Zolotukhin.

Only a "Fair Russia" from the mandates declined seven people. In the Communist Party "refuseniks" only three, but in the Liberal Democratic Party - just two. It is expected that on Friday the State Duma will begin consultations on the preparation of the first meeting of the State Duma of the fifth convocation, which is scheduled for 12.00 GMT on December 24.
