Resistance to Sarkozy - "Sarko - a fascist!"

In the French capital on Monday night continued opposition protests, Nicolas Sarkozy, the winner in presidential elections on Sunday. On Monday night, about 500 people gathered at the Place de la Bastille in central Paris shouting slogans: "Paris, get up, wake up!" and "Sarko - a fascist," "Sacro - rabble, you should leave." Until Monday night rally was peaceful. Then, near midnight, the demonstrators joined in an aggressive-minded people, dressed in black, who became to turn urns, smash windows in telephone booths and threw stones at the windows of buildings.

On the steps of the Opera, located on the Place de la Bastille, the protesters have consolidated the French flag with the words "Resist Sarkozy." Protesters their slogans recalled that during the mass protests of descendants of immigrants in the Paris suburbs, Sarkozy, the then interior minister of France, called the protesters "rabble", reports AFP.
