Venezuela wants to withdraw from IMF

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said he intends to lead the country out of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank. According to BBC, in a speech on Labor Day, Chavez said he intends to carry out this plan as soon as possible.

"We do not need to follow Washington's ... we will emerge from the IMF. We will leave before they come and obkradut us "- said Chavez. The President also said that he had given all necessary orders the Minister of Finance Rodrigo Cabezas, that he began a formal procedure for release of two major international financial organizations.
