Work of a new system for recycling urine into drinking water, assessed to the ISS. U.S. astronaut Michael Barratt admitted that the resulting beverage has excellent taste, and cosmonaut Gennady Padalka refrained from comment because the enthusiasm was trying to catch his mouth flying in zero gravity water bubbles.

The new system has been delivered into orbit in November last year, but due to technical problems of its exploitation began at once. NASA researchers who developed the equipment, say that their invention is of tremendous importance, because the pure water at the station difficult to find, but getting it from the Earth is too expensive.

In addition, given the fact that the next crew of the station will be already out of six people, not three, water savings relevant than ever.
