In connection with the spread of new influenza Saudi authorities have taken unprecedented measures. All pilgrims performing Hajj this season, in addition to the firm intention to visit the holy places of Islam would have to have medical certificates, which would describe the absence of chronic diseases.

For elderly people aged over 65 and children under 12 years of entry will be closed. These restrictions, as stated by the representative of the Saudi Ministry of Health, will be distributed for the period of Hajj, which this year begins in late November, as well as at the time of Umrah - a small pilgrimage, which, according to Islamic doctrine, you can make at any time, reports RIA Novosti .

It is expected that the number of pilgrims to Mecca and Medina this year will be around three million. According to the requirements of Islam, Hajj should make every Muslim who is able to do it.
