Angry chipmunks intimidated English
British authorities are concerned about the search of Siberian chipmunks, who recently escaped from the reserve. According to the experts, these seemingly innocuous creation could cause existing for centuries in the area ecosystem.
About thirty chipmunk escaped from the Wellington Park in southern England. To date, eighteen furry fugitives found dead, eight captured, and the remaining four are wanted.
According to a representative of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of the United Kingdom (DEFRA), these animals are harmless enough, but at the same time in the fight for nuts and berries they can win the local inhabitants - a field mouse or a water rat, RBC reports.
