Russia and Georgia are close to agreeing a withdrawal
Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili said that the Georgian-Russian talks on the timing of withdrawal of Russian military bases from Batumi and Akhalkalaki "nearing completion".
She told reporters that "the parties have advanced to the final phase of negotiations failed to clear the text of the forthcoming agreement on secondary issues and move closer to the core."
