U.S. in no hurry to leave Iraq

U.S. House of Representatives opposed the early withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.

Most Congressmen believe that the U.S. must first fulfill all the previously set foreign policy goals, including the security of a free from the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein's Iraq.

Appropriate resolution supported by 291 Congressman voted against 137. According to its sponsors, calls for early withdrawal of U.S. troops only lead to activation of the terrorists and undermine the morale of U.S. soldiers.

Meanwhile, proposals for the speedy withdrawal of troops from Iraq come from the Democratic Party.

In turn, the Australian troops will remain in Iraq for as long as there is not restored the proper level of security. Ukraine has begun withdrawing troops from Iraq.
