Border without a lock: 200 boundary pillars were stolen and spent on firewood

At the Russian-Kazakh border stolen 200 boundary pillars, reported guide frontier Golden Sopka (Troitsk, Chelyabinsk region).

Border guards in November 2004, planted near the village of hilly poles, with the intention of the onset of heat on them to the barbed wire. However, on April 26, came to this place, they found only stumps.

May 20 at the place of departed operative group, but most likely the search would be fruitless: according to the chief police department police colonel Anatoly Shcherbatova, local residents will probably still let in winter poles for firewood, according to news agency REGNUM.
