Pope urged to help Palestine

15:40 Today, Pope Benedict XYI urged the international community to help the Palestinian people in establishing their own state.
He stated this in a traditional Easter message at the solemn liturgy on the occasion of today, the Catholic holiday of Easter. In a message dedicated to the pressing problems of mankind, the pontiff called for peace in the Holy Land.
The head of the Roman Catholic Church appealed to the international community to "assist the Palestinian people to overcome the conditions of temporary uncertainty, in which he lives, build their own future and create a real state," ITAR-TASS.
