The Georgian parliament passed a resolution on the eve of "On the current situation and the passage of the peacekeeping process in the former South Ossetian Autonomous Region.

In his text, the Russian peacekeepers found "ineffective" and the format of the peacekeeping operation MPs urge change to "neutral international peacekeeping mission."

In addition, the government will also revise the Sochi agreement, signed by Boris Yeltsin and Eduard Shevardnadze, 24 June 1992. The document defines the principles of peaceful settlement of the Georgian-Ossetian conflict.

Resolution is already in force and the government began to implement it, but when this process ends, hard to say. Zakareishvili, a well-known politician, a representative of the British NGO Concilation Resources in Georgia said that "at best, this process will be long and, at worst - nothing will change", according to "Novye Izvestia".
