Victims of two bombings in India have more than 20 people

According to recent reports, 21 people were killed and 60 injured in two bomb blasts on the eve of the city of Varanasi in northern India, where there is one of the most revered Hindu temples.

Vzyvnoe first device went off inside the church when there were many pilgrims. A second bomb exploded several minutes later at the city railway station.

Police said that defused three explosive devices - two on the main market of Varanasi and one - on the bank of the Ganges River.

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has urged people to remain calm.

Attacks have been arranged just days after clashes between Muslims and Hindus in the nearby city of Lucknow, as well as the looting of Muslim shops in the resort of Goa, reported BBC.
